Golf
Fitness is the golf-focused fitness program that was originally developed
by Kelly Blackburn for PGA TOUR professional Larry Nelson. This
concept has subsequently been implemented with many TOUR professionals
with incredible results. Within six months Nelson doubled his strength,
tripled his flexibility and added 20 yards to his driving distance
while using the same equipment. Blackburn has constantly refined Golf
Fitness for the past 15 years and has now formatted this cutting edge
concept for the benefit of all golfers, Fitness Professionals, and Golf
Teaching Professionals .
Golf Fitness is a 60-minute golf-specific workout that targets the goals of any passionate golfer - Gain distance off the tee, create more consistency through 18 holes, build more stamina for finishing holes, add power behind the ball and ultimately shave strokes from their scores. Golf Fitness is based on levels- a "par", "birdie" and "eagle" system. It accommodates every golfer regardless of gender, age, and skill level or fitness level. There are no bogeys in Golf Fitness!

to learn and easy for the participants to follow. Because of this combination,

you can see below, our Atlanta instructors are reporting income as high
as $72 per hour.� The 1:1 ratio minimum is determined by adding 20% to
your normal one-to-one charges because this is a sports specific unique

2. Will Golf Fitness correct my slice or hook?

inquiring about their overall swing mechanics are referred to their local
teaching professional and teaching professionals who feel that their students
need to enhance their fitness level to better their game are referred
to trainers teaching Golf Fitness. Another added bonus for participants
taking Golf Fitness is that they are encouraged to use mirrors in the
class to insure their swing mechanics are "up to par" as instructed
from their teaching professional.
3. Can anyone participate in Golf Fitness?
Because
Golf Fitness details swing training, it is advised that the participant
be familiar with the golf swing. An introduction to the innovative Golf
Fitness swing trainer will be conducted to review the basics of gripping
and swinging the club properly. Golf Fitness Trainers will always encourage
the novice to consult their local PGA teaching professional to develop
correct swing mechanics before continuing Golf Fitness on a regular basis
to avoid developing incorrect habits.
4. What ages can participate in Golf Fitness?
Golf
Fitness was designed for all golfers of both genders ages 12 and older.
Participants of all fitness levels and skill levels are instructed by
Golf Fitness Trainers to conduct each exercise according to their comfort
level based on a par, birdie and eagle system.
5. Is Golf Fitness for the off season only?
Absolutely
not! Golf Fitness was designed as a year-round training program. It's
important that the player maintain peak condition in order to maintain
peak performance on the course.
6. What results can one expect from Golf Fitness?
PGA
TOUR Professionals have doubled their strength, tripled their flexibility
and have seen up to 20 yards in added distance off the tee. Amateurs have
experienced an average of 12 yards in added distance off the tee, greater
strength, flexibility and more energy through 18 holes. Those that experienced
shoulder, back and neck problems in the past lowered their risk of injury
and witnessed little if any pain in these areas after six months of Golf
Fitness training.
7. How do I get started?
Step 1) It is recommended that the first step in offering Golf Fitness is to research your demographics within a ten-mile radius. You want to be sure that you have both existing, but more importantly, potential new customers that can support your Golf Fitness program offering.
Step 2) Once you have established that there is sufficient interest in having Golf Fitness as an added program, you'll want to order the program and begin your training. Note: The instructor need not be a scratch golfer! We've trained instructors that had no golfing experience and they've gone on to playing the sport!

Golf Fitness Basic Training: In-home comprehensive training and testing Golf Fitness Trainer certification. Materials include Golf Fitness Basic Training handbook, and Exam Fee.
